Our Story
In 2017, our founder, Shannon got into the Cannabis industry working at a cannabis compliance software company. Being new to the industry it was hard for her to find the right connections until she discovered golf—and realized it was more than just a sport. Golf became a powerful networking tool, helping her connect with people in ways she hadn’t imagined. Inspired by the connections she made on the course, Shannon envisioned something bigger—an opportunity to bring together the cannabis community through events.

Today, that vision is a reality with the Cannabis Golf League (CGL). We've hosted two successful golf tournaments alongside Colorado Leads and multiple golf league days, connecting cannabis industry professionals and enthusiasts alike. We’re honored to collaborate with Colorado Leads on their annual golf tournament, a key organization advancing progress in the cannabis industry. Together, we’re dedicated to creating dynamic opportunities for cannabis professionals to connect, network, and thrive.

But we’re not just about golf. CGL Presents is the second arm of our brand, dedicated to organizing non-golf events, including charity fundraisers, concerts, and other engaging experiences. Our mission is to build meaningful connections, create unforgettable moments, and support our community through a variety of events.

As a small business owner with a CBD brand called Eossi Beauty, Shannon knows the importance of getting in front of the right people. That’s why Cannabis Golf League and CGL Presents focus on fostering the relationships that can elevate your brand and business. From our golf tournaments to our networking events, we’re here to help you grow your network and your business.

Shannon alongside her husband Anson, operate Vermillion Hill, an exclusive and private event venue located on a stunning 142-acre farm up north. Surrounded by beautiful open space and uninterrupted views of the Rocky Mountains, Vermillion Hill offers a versatile and fun setting for all types of gatherings—whether it’s an intimate wedding, a corporate retreat, or a community event. The expansive property provides endless possibilities for customization, from outdoor ceremonies and receptions to unique, nature-filled experiences. With its serene atmosphere and ample space, Vermillion Hill is the perfect place to bring people together, creating memorable moments in a truly special environment.
